Pratyahara Flow: A Practice of Sense Withdrawal
This is a practice that takes the yogi out of their “normal“ practice. In short form, pratyahara means “withdrawal from the senses”, but what it truly embodies is one’s ability to react less to the stimuli and events happening around them, and approach situations in a more focused and purposeful manner. The ability to act more with consciousness, than react in a knee-jerk response to what is happening inside the mind and outside the body. Using a blindfold, yogis will move through a flow, giving way to new sensations in the body and mind. Expect to ground down and rise up my fellow yogis!
